Adhipureeswarar Chintadripet is an east facing temple with an outer and inner Prakaram. The temple has a large entrance gateway. A large temple tank in the east is shared with the adjoining Vishnu Temple.

History

Adhipureeswarar Chintadripet along with the adjoining Vishnu temple was built by an agent (dubash) working under the British East India Company in 1740s with the company’s support. Hence, these two temples are called as Company Temples.
