Kasi Viswanathar Vasaputhur is a small east facing temple without any compound wall. The lingam is small.  This temple is considered a Sidhdhar Peedam (where a Sidhdhar has attained samadhi). The Naagar is in a separate shrine under a Neem tree as are the Navagrahas. Remnants of a temple tank is seen, but not very sure.

Kasi Viswanathar Vasaputhur is about 6 kilometers east of Chidambaram. Take the road via the Outpatient department of the medical college and take a right after Kumaramangalam. A few turns will take you to the temple. Not always open, morning 8-10 and evening 6-7 is suggested.
