Agasteeswarar Vembedu is an east facing temple. The temple is entered through a large gate. A large temple tank is north of the temple. Adjacent to Agasteeswarar Vembedu is an Anjaneya temple and the huge idol of Anjaneya built outside is beautiful and imposing.

10 kilometers in the road going from Vandalur to Kelambakkam is Mambakkam. Take a right here and drive south for about 10 kilometers to reach Agasteeswarar Vembedu. The temple is in the main road and is easily located once you see a large Anjaneya Statue on your right.
