Prasanna Venkatesa Perumal Orathur is an ancient east facing temple with the lord in standing posture flanked by Goddesses Sreedevi and Bhoodevi. An old Dwajasthambam made of a single granite is seen outside the temple. There are some carvings of Fish, Snake and Moon on the entrance gateway’s ceiling.
